Here's a good one. "Dream Team" with Michael Keaton is on right now. Forgot just how funny and just good this flick was.

I didn't really expect much when I thought to post this. It's been a very fun read.

The Entity, haven’t seen it since I was a kid
Tons of nudity, ghost rape... a trippy mix for my, probably 10-12 year old mind at the time |

The Deer Hunter
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077416/ Don't know if it has aged well but when it came out it I thought it was an excellent film. Had some intense scenes. Looks like it's got an 8.1 on IMDb. |

I loved how they thought we'd be living in a socialist utopia.

Started watching "Explorers" with the kids.
River Phoenix, Ethan Hawke when they were young. This movie really captured my imagination as a kid. |

That title Blue Thunder, reminded me of Rolling Thunder, a film that came out in the 70's. If you see it, you will never forget it. It stars a young William Devane, this is before Dallas, and a young Tommy Lee Jones in one of his first roles.
The basic premise is William Devane is a Vietnam Vet and he returns home, I believe Texas, and the towns people want to honor him so they give him a $1000 in silver dollars and have a ceremony downtown. From there, just imagine what might happen in a redneck town. It's fair movie, but it has an ending that you will never forget. I think it will pop up on one of the premium channels now and then. |
