Moderator position/ positions up for grabs?

SAUTO - Last Activity: 01-31-2021 12:27 PM
TimBone (On ignore anyway ) Last Activity: 03-30-2021 01:56 PM

Everyone else I see on a pretty regular basis. The 7 that are here regularly can probably handle the moderation duties without concern, but I'm bored and we need something to discuss.

Do we need to start taking applications for new moderators?

You're not right for this position. You have embrace it fully, and that means enjoying it.

Make good use of that report button. It's there for you to alert me when wrongdoing is happening on this forum.

Some mods may be annoyed by over-use of that button. But as your mod-elect, I want to encourage you to over-use it. No complaint is too small for me to consider. I relish the process.

However there is no need to give yourself a title. Rather, consider yourself an honored member of the Chiefsplanet Scrutiny Service.

The CP Scrutiny Service is a valuable part of this forum. The scrutinization of potentially harmful posts benefits us all. Some may gloss over these posts, but your dedication to ensuring a safer and superior forum does not go unnoticed.

Members of the Scrutinization Service may receive a special logo to display proudly in their avatar. This will let everyone know who's watching, so they can be on their best behavior when that member posts in a thread.

Respect the SS!

Does this position have benefits? I'm needing health care, matching 401K, and 2 weeks paid vacation to even consider applying for this position.

Also, I have a small child at home. I've learned that I'm not quite as patient of a person as I thought I was. I deal with temper tantrums all the time. My justice comes swift and firm. Probably even more so on here, because none of you are as cute as my kiddo.

Health care
I'm pretty sure Bwana can at least keep you alive if you survived a bear attack... at least for several minutes.
And I can give you some useful tips on getting up every hour if you sit for long periods of time, the importance of daily activity and exercise, etc.
Bugeater can fix your car, which reduce stress and the dangers of being stranded on the side of a highway.
Bowser can post memes... everyone needs laughter for mental health.

401k matching
Up to 100% matching on your $0/year salary (IRS limits apply, of course)

Paid vacation
One of the best perks, you can take a day off here and there, no problem! Need a week off, go for it! The position is very flexible, and of course paid at the same rate throughout the year. Overtime is also paid at double the rate!
