****2017 NFL Draft Thread**** (NO Spoilers)

Let's ****ing do this.

Rules:
1. No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. This means that as tweets are leaking picks a few minutes before the selection is announced live, you don't post it in this thread (ex: embedded tweets), reference it in this thread (ex: Joe Slapdick says it's McCaffrey to Tampa) or hint at it (ex: "it's a RB!").

Don't be a dick.

Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny.

I'll also be starting threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. Pure knee jerk gold to reference in the future.

Good info here on Arizona. Lots of rumors of them looking at Kizer and Webb. Starting to feel better about Mahomes being available.

That kinda bit KC in the ass. Wasn't that the Simms pick?

It was very funny at the time. I remember thinking WTF just happened.

It was actually the next year.

Quote:
The draft took an odd turn with the Minnesota Vikings' pick in the first round. The Vikings were apparently attempting to consummate a trade when their fifteen-minute time allowance elapsed. The Jaguars who selected next were quick to pounce, turning in their card to select QB Byron Leftwich immediately after the Vikings' time elapsed. The Panthers also took advantage of the gaffe, selecting OT Jordan Gross before the Vikings recovered and selected DT Kevin Williams.[source 1] Nevertheless, the mistake may have worked in the Vikings' favor as Williams went on to be a mainstay in their team, missing only four games in his first 10 seasons in the NFL and making six Pro Bowls (as of 2013).
When the Chiefs picked Simms, they traded with the Cowboys to move to do it. The clock ran out and there was some question if the Vikings could make their pick in front of them but it didn't happen.

Finally he fell ass backwards into a SB win so he can act like a ****ing jerk because he engineered a team that won it all.

**** him.
