Can we all agree now, that the myth that Reid can scheme around anything is bullshit?

The injuries of the offensive line, in the end, were just too much. Even for Mahomes.

They ran a Tampa 2 to take away the big plays, and we couldn't pass block, and we couldn't run the ball consistently.

You still have to block. No matter what playmakers you have.

And defensively, the defensive front 7 is need of an infusion of talent too.

The Chiefs need another force up front. Maybe Gay is the upgrade at LB, maybe we need another.

But I don't want to hear any more horseshit about how we shouldn't spend draft resources on the offensive line.

Even Mahomes is still human. Exceptional, yes. But human.

Couple of those hits the Tampa Bay DL put on him are potentially career altering. I'm shocked he wasn't seriously injured after that sandwich hit.

I called it back when LDT opted out, we made as much hay while the sun shone as was possible.

I was polite and a good fan keeping quiet about it during the season, seeing how het up folks get if you even suggest that Mahomes can't fix everything always forever.

But this is now history, on the biggest stage. One of the biggest and most decisive beatdowns of recent SB memory.

There wasn’t much effort to scheme around the offensive line issues which everyone could see coming.

Where was the quick/short passing game early in the game?

I'm unfortunately 100% buying that this has a big hand in what we witnessed tonight.

Britt Reid can rot in hell for contributing to costing this team a championship and, most importantly, possibly costing a child their life.

**** that guy.

I would say the bigger myth slaughtered is that you don't have to invest in OL because Veach will scrap together some turds and still win.

We need to re-build our OL before Mahomes breaks.

what really sucks is this-how do you beat a Tampa 2? And Bowles ran it all ****ing game long. No disguises. Just straight up.

The answer is: You exploit the two deep safeties. You do it by running the ball, and by dropping it in over the LB'ers. You force those safeties to cheat forward.

We couldn't block well enough to do either.

I don't want to hear any more bullshit about how we can scheme up and work around scrub offensive linemen.

It was so weird. We knew we were weak at O-Line. Where were the Jet Sweeps? Where were the screens? The rollouts? Hell, where were the adjustments?

Just such an odd game. It's been so long since I've seen Andy Reid get out-coached this badly. Something so fishy about it.

The only thing he can’t scheme around is his son maybe killing a kid. If you have seen any video of him since getting of the plane he looks completely spaced out. Every big game ravens, bills, etc. Andy has them spinning in circles. This was just regular season vs the jets play calling. . Ran a few times which was successful but would t stick with it and by second half it was to late. The timeouts before half completed deflated the team. This team is a like a great 3 point shooter who goes cold and then after getting a lay up and just watching the ball goes through the net they go off and can’t miss. We never got that lay up and Andy and the refs made sure if it. We act like we haven’t similar defenses all year.
