*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

The best player in the NFL could be a fullback, but his impact on the game is no where near as high as even an above average WR. What I would gauge it on is how much better are you than your peers at that specific position.

I think you can make a case for Aaron Donald, Michael Thomas, Patrick Mahomes, or Stephon Gilmore.

It is simply our bias showing, yet again. Sports fandom is so interesting and such an amazing display of unchecked bias.
As of right now Mahomes is the best QB in football, and what he does at his position is superior to what everyone else does at theirs. Right now he is the best player in football.

Now......can he stay there, only time will tell.

I have no problems....Don Hutson, Jim Brown, Jerry Rice, Patrick Mahomes.

Spotrac posted a Tweet that Jared Goff’s dead cap hit will be $96 million in March. No matter what Mahomes’ agent will demand from the Chiefs, at least you guys are not stuck in the situation of Rams fans. Very overpaid QB and extremely overpaid RB.

Haha. We hate each other internally until it becomes an “us” vs. “them” thing with anyone outside of Texas, then we are united.

Dallas vs. Ft Worth vs. Houston vs. San Antonio vs. Austin
Red Raider vs. Longhorn vs. Aggie vs. tier 2 wannabes vs. private school nut jobs
Breakfast Taco vs. Breakfast Burrito

Our divides are strong
