*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I'm just going to ignore the bs talk for the next couple of weeks and stay away from football. This loss was a real bummer for many reasons, Andy needs to get this team disciplined and learning fundamentals especially on Defense.

He's played 12 NFL games. Seriously, 12 games. And this is the standard he's set.

Of course he's gonna have a clunker. 450 yards 6 tds and 3 INT's.

It's a fun time to be a Chiefs fan. Buckle up.

If Scandrick catches that INT, every sports analyst is shitting on Goff instead.

That's the thing: This is a "clunker." When he cleans up a couple of cleanable things, holy shit.

I mean, it's already been holy shit. What's the next level? Holy ****ing shit?

Manning was right. Mahomes gets too competitive at times and over does it. It will take time to get over that and he’ll learn.

Yeah, sometimes, that little 4 or 5 yard pass is the way to go. Take the easy throw, give yourself another play.

Mahomes likely doesn’t throw the last 2 int’s if Scandruck catching that ball. And the first was a Superman play by 50.

Overreaction Planet in effect.

I was at the game. Rams and Chief fans had nothing but positive things to say at the end. Everyone was shaking each other’s hands and basically congratulating both teams. It still felt like a win to me. The Ram fans were great and respected our team.

We had 5 turnovers, on the road, on Prime Time and lost only by 3? This is a win.

Mahomes never gave up. Most QBs who take that kind of beating fold up. The fans were literally saying “why can’t he just suck and give up already”? Mahomes is truly a special QB.

Kid needs 19 TDs in 5 more games to break Manning's record. That is just bonkers that we are even talking about it.

Two games against Oakland could be 10 TDs alone. I think he has a real chance at it.
