Exactly this. He's had 3 really good relief outings in a row. They're betting/hoping he has his confidence back and are working towards getting him back in the starting rotation.

As long as he doesn't flop down in AAA, Bubic's days in the starting rotation are numbered . . . . . . .

Almost all of us were clamoring for Mondesi to play CF. I imagine thats what hes talking about. Less change of direction and quick starting and stopping. Better chance to play more games.
