2019 Free agency Thread

We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

The safety market isn't what it use to be. In fact we signed Berry at the absolute worst time possible (when the S market was at its highest.)

Dorsey was excellent at finding low round talent and signing cheap FA talent but he was horrible at signing/retaining our own talent. Every big contract Dorsey negotiated (Berry, Houston, etc) was horrible...

I think Berry is a great person and was an excellent player for us but it might be time to part ways. I have no idea what his health situation is and wonder if anyone (outside of the team) really does.

Berry looked terrible vs. the Pats and was clearly not healthy. How his situation improves without surgery I don't understand...

Can Thomas even pass a physical at this point?

Has there been anything actually concrete about the Chiefs interest? I mean it's all speculation at this point.

Yup.

All the more reason for us not to bite each other's heads off here. We're all making guesses on what will happen.

I think it's more clear what the Chiefs want to do but that doesn't mean that's how things will play out...

I wouldn’t say anything 100% concrete, but there’s absolutely enough smoke for there to be a fire.

Considering we tried trading for him, one can only assume we’ll have plenty of interest.

Okay man, we get it, you don’t need to sink to using Pete Prickso to prove your point.

I would think so. It was a simple break that happened pretty early in the season.
