I bet Flacco can’t wait to get killed behind that OL.

The 2019 version of Flacco is barely an upgrade over Keenum.
And at least Keenum is mobile... Flacco as a statue behind Denver's shitfest offensive line... what could go wrong. |

Broncos didn't get better. If you don't have a great QB or at least a good one then you will struggle to win anything. Players won't believe in him and will not be all in. Guys on that team are playing for their checks and that's it.

It seems to be common knowledge here that Denver's OL was horrible in 2018... why? They gave up the 10th fewest sacks and were 4th in rushing YPA.

He’s barely even an upgrade over Kennum. Stop.

Per my historic quarterback analysis, Flacco has been a top ten quarterback in the league in one year of his career, and that was 2010 when he ranked 10th.
So the Broncos are now pinning their hopes on a guy whose best year was nine years ago, and even then he was barely a top 10 quarterback. I hope Elway never gets fired. In fact, I hope he ends up owning the team. |

Now he's just washed. At his best he was an average quarterback who had a hot 4 weeks one time. I mean does anyone realize that Joe Flacco has NEVER made a Pro Bowl? He's been invited once after literally SIX other quarterbacks were injured or playing in the Super Bowl. Alex Smith has gone to 3. Derek Anderson, Vince Young, Kordell Stewart....MATT CASSEL have all played in the Pro Bowl. Derek Anderson, lads. Joe Flacco's just a more expensive Case Keenum that will make the Broncos take a massive penalty to cut Keenum to boot. They'd be better served keeping Keenum as a bridge to their new QB (evidently Lock) and using the add'l cap space to make his life easier going forward. |
