Sandbox Simulations is open for business! Sign up now!

Not available in stores! Buy now! Special price of only $1 for a limited time only. We're up and running!

Go to www.sandboxsimulations.com to sign up. (You can learn more about the game as well.)

For the time being, we set the price to $1, and we can't limit it to just the game testers, so if you're interested, you'll also get the $1 price. Just sign up.

This is a fresh reset, so everyone will have new teams and we'll do a new draft.

Also, please give us any feedback about what you like or don't like, and how we can improve navigation. We've updated all of the systems, so there's a chance that errors are lurking somewhere, but we think we're good to go now. Let us know if something bad happens to you.

It tracks real stats from the year before correct? So any one who was injured last year misses those games in Sim this year.

So if your QB gets injured in 2019 in real life, you’ll know for next season he’ll be missing those games.

Is this correct?

That’s what I thought. So if they didn’t miss a game in 2018, what’s the point of having a backup qb?

Unless you're concerned about an injury that would force you into the open FA market for a replacement the following season, there isn't one.

For instance, I've kicked around the idea of signing both Fitz and Tannehill to 2 year deals. Year 1 doesn't matter but there's a good chance that Tannehill get injured or doesn't play enough to get a viable statline for the sim in season 2. In that event, I'll want to have Tannehill on hand already rather than be forced into going into FA for a QB or having to draft one in a draft that may/may not have a viable QB.

Then again, if Fitz gets a stopgap deal on a solid team trying to coach up a rookie and manages to make it through the season healthy (even if he gets benched by week 10 again), I'd have wasted that money I spent on Tannehill entirely.

Dunno what I'm gonna do there, to be honest. It'll depend on how much I have to spend. But the only reason you have a backup is the reason ANYONE has a backup - just in case.

Lots of future planning involved in this. You aren’t just drafting based on last season. Much different than fantasy.

I still suck at it.

Yeah, but JPP would've been there at 332 so there's that...

I'm sure you mean Kareem...

Which is why I traded down to get TWO picks back.

But yes, I do regret, in the short term, moving up to get Kareem. But I still say it's gonna be worth it.
