MCU Meta Discussion

The various movies obviously deserve their own threads once things actually start moving on them, but it seems like we should have a place just for general discussion about what they're planning. So here ya go.

God I hope so haha. He's not getting any younger (currently 50 years old) Renner is actually so great in so much other serious stuff (The Hurt Locker, The Town, Wind River , etc) I'm sure the MCU pays him well but I'd like to see him in more gritty serious stuff.

I'm actually way more excited for his Paramount + tv series called Mayor of Kingstown. It'll re team Renner with his Wind River director (Taylor Sheridan). Sheridan is the creator of the show.

That's awesome and I am truly stoked to see that, but that's also something I would have legit lost my shit at in the theater if I hadn't known it was coming. Sometimes the internet and its need to be first and spoil every ****ing thing sucks an ass.

I so wish I didn't see this. Unfortunately there's no way to avoid spoilers for the next 6 months.

Is anyone still watching the What If? show? This week's episode was kind of the throwaway episode. Cool to see that fight happen, but it felt dumbed down and just kind of overly silly. The best part of the whole thing was the last 20 seconds.......

Yeah. Were a few chuckle worthy lines, but it mostly felt like a step back to the younger audiences after the last couple of darker episodes. That last second reveal was awesome, then I realized it was a throw away moment and not something we'd see, which made the episode even worse.
