Sippio should be considered a legend but the clock is ticking. What is he now, early 40s? Pretty sure he's out of jail unless he got locked up again for something else.

If he's going to make a run at Jerry Rice's records he needs to do it now.

IK he played a different position but IIRC Boomer Grigsby had the most fan hype of any player that was JaG. Hopefully Ross is just a little better than that.

That’s another name that I forgot about. They were probably the two most hyped JAGs ever on this team. That hype still paled in comparison to Geno though.

Box Jumping Mile Catapano comes to mind.

Rich Scanlon was also a cult favorite.

I'll just say this...

It's foolish to dismiss any WR signed by this team before they're given a chance. Reid might be as good as anyone in the history of the game at designing/calling plays and getting receivers open. And then there's this Mahomes guy who tends to elevate his receivers. He made Pringle and Albert Wilson look like above average receivers.

And it's especially foolish to dismiss a player who was considered a first round talent not long ago and is receiving hype from Reid himself.

What sets those guys apart though is London plays with a high level of strength for a WR, he's a lot more physical than Ross has ever shown.

There is a place for 6'4 WR's that don't have elite long speed, just London has shown a lot more of the smooth short area quickness and just being reliable and knowing where to be than we've really ever seen from Ross. Like Drake London is a really good high point the ball receiver..Ross dunno.

The difference in a top 10 pick and a UDFA aside from serious injury is London has shown he can do those things Ross you're hoping he can.
Ross ran on a foot that needed a further surgery. It's reasonable to expect he's actually faster than that on two good feet.

I'm not saying he's a speed demon, but just pointing that out.

Agreed, but I will say that WR appears to be the one position in the offense after QB that has the steepest learning curve. But if they have the talent, they will eventually get it and Reid/Mahomes will make them look better than they are.
