Dude, I really, really like it. I think the DE pick in round 1 is fungible… take the best edge guy available there. If it’s Williams or Myjai Sanders and David Ojabo or whoever.
Watching Ohio State/Michigan, and I’ve been impressed with Ojabo’s overall traits. Super super athletic. They shouldn’t be trying to cover WR with him dropping like they are, but you can see the traits. He also has battled Petit-Fiere well. Hendershot is an intriguing risk pick. If they can get him that late, I’m there. Robinson is a fantastic and versatile playmaker. I’m not sure I see the Chiefs splashing that much $$ on Ward to keep him, but I like the rest of the plan (especially the Barnett/Ingram combo). |

Good looking offseason. I’m surprised our mocks currently look very similar.
How concerned are you about the backend of the defense in this mock? |

I wouldn’t be super concerned about it. CB room is static, Whitehead is a rough approximation of Mathieu. Anything is better at S3 than Sorenson. What’s your concern? Pass coverage at S2? |

I'm not concerned about the back end of the defense all that much, at least in comparison to this year. Whitehead is a starting SS with similar abilities to Mathieu. He's not as good but they are similar. Stewart would be adding a guy with similar traits at a reserve level and Turner-Yell would be a developmental guy in that mold. Stewart can play some nickel for you; he's actually fairly solid in that role. I think Anderson or Key replace Sorensen's role next year. The CB room is the same and Sneed can move around if needed. A large function of the secondary's ability to play well is to have a pass rush in front. I think that's where you have to put the most effort. I definitely tried to add there with 4 defensive linemen. Obviously, some of that is due to attrition but the Chiefs need some new blood up there. The other component is actually taking pressure off the secondary by having better coverage at the second level. I think adding Ross and Morrow would really help that second level raise its play in coverage. |

IMO, the Chiefs will trade up for a WR because the constant drops are unnerving

Kelce/Hill/JuJu is going to give you much of what you need. It pushes Pringle to a 4th option, where frankly he belongs, and even then he might be displaced by Robinson, who the Chiefs drafted in the 2nd, in crow's mock. |
