That’s not this year, though. Who cares what Bolles, Wilson or Sutton did several years ago? That’s not who they are now.

The six I mentioned for the Chiefs all made the Pro Bowl in 2012 . . . . . on a 2-14 team. If that doesn’t speak to the level of talent they had and how it was being grossly mismanaged then I don’t know what does. They hired Andy (a coach who knows how to use his talent), dumped Pioli and off they went.

Denver’s situation is not remotely the same.

The Chiefs also didn’t have an albatross QB contract weighing them down at the time they hired Andy. Denver is going to be limited in what they can do with that contract on the books. On top of that, if they decide to pay out the nose for Payton, you’re gonna have to part with even MORE high draft capital.

Sorry, but that’s not a recipe for success.

Yes, sooooooo good, they won 4 games, had their 6th losing season in a row, and finished last. Again. But, good roster though!

Broncos already went with the old school play defense/ball control and run the ball with Vic Fangio and it failed spectacularly.

Please do it again!

Simmons and Surtain are both good. You have 3-4 young guys who have potential. Sutton is the definition of overrated. The rest of your guys wouldn't keep their slot (starter, back-up etc) on 80% of the other NFL teams. Your QB is on the downhill side of his career with a peak years contract and you traded a fecal ton of draft picks to get him. You better get a helluva coach because the Broncos are 2-3 years away from catching up on the talent level.

Also pretty funny he's getting excited about the prospects of interviews. Of ****ing course every candidate available wants to INTERVIEW with Denver, the owner has already came out and offered a blank check. Why wouldn't you use that prospect to leverage some more $$$ out of a job you actually desire.

Look at the dead money cap charges every year Payton was in NO and the fact he’s said multiple times he wants player personnel control and every Chiefs fan should be in solidarity hoping that Denver trades a first and more to NO for the rights to sign him.

He only got 1 Super Bowl out of a long career with a first ballot HOF QB.

As a Chiefs fan, outside of them hiring Bienemy (which I think will happen) that’s absolute best case scenario.

We got accused by Donk fans of overrating Dwayne Bowe as our #1 for many years.

Bowe had some faults, but he could consistently put up 1000 yard seasons as the #1 WR in spite of the dogshit QBs and dogshit coaches he had.

Donk fans act like Sutton is this polished, solid #1 WR kind of like we thought Bowe was, except Sutton isn't remotely close to Bowe as a player. Sutton has only had 1000 yards once in his career and yet Knowmo keeps listing him as this amazing franchise player you can build around.

He's a fine player. Oft-injured, but fine. I'd much rather have Juju as my #1, who's a much sleeker and versatile player and not as often injured.

We had 26 players on I.R. this year. We were just very unlucky. Had we signed an old, injury prone RB like McKinnon he’d get hurt. When KC does, he stays healthy.

Your roster is garbage. How much money did GregIRy pilfer from you for 2 sacks? You traded away your best pass rusher AGAIN, to try to offset the enormous bag your idiot GM gave EmbaRuss. Your OL hate EmbaRuss, your receivers are tired of him. Your backup quarterback has to be the only person to stick up for him. All those picks and money Paid a Ton gave for EmbaRuss to still finish last I’m the division, basically the same record after adding a billion dollars to your payroll! Your teams ineptitude is the laughing stock of the league! Another season post Manning, and another season long
