Call it? Predict the 2022 Royals wins .

Go on record your prediction.

The Royals have a lot of optimism & promise this year and for the years to come.

But this is the year for the pitching to take a major step forward along with some talented kids from the minors.

What is your expected win total for the Royals to be this year.

A really fun .500, no sarcasm intended. I think it’ll be a season to look back on as the start of something special.

I'm very optimistic, better defense, clutch hitting and better pitching the last half of the season.

Just as important as wins to me is finding out how long we have to watch guys like Dozier, O’Hearn and Santana block players who SHOULD be up sooner than later.

I picked 81 because I think the Royals are a .500 team.

I have no idea how many games they're actually playing this year with the delay . . . so while the number is suspect, the sentiment is not.

But in all seriousness, my less than informed opinion is they should feel like the 2013 Royals. Offense can produce, pitching will suck and they'll close to .500. Hopefully won't have a three-win April or whatever that atrocious start that iteration of the team had however.
