*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I still say peak Gannon was very similar to Mahomes, just without the cannon.

That guy could do some frustrating shit with arm angles and scrambling around.

On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes will play in his second consecutive AFC Championship game. Let's revisit his draft thread almost three years later.

Gannon was damn good. Very crafty player. Mahomes has similar craftiness mixed with GOAT level physical talent. This was the mistake by Buffalo. They got a guy with Mahomes' physical talent and NONE of the craftiness. Oops!

Watching this play is pretty incredible:

Knowing it's 3rd and goal, he doesn't hit Kelce early, seeing he's not likely to get into the EZ, due to the trailing DB. Instead he stretches the play, then sees an opening back inside, and throws Kelce right into it (who can't see it with his back turned). Incredible situational awareness and vision.

This is probably from the Brooke Pryor/Angie Ricono-types who are trying to stir shit up. If the Chiefs advance to the Super Bowl and the spotlight on the team increases, I am sure they’ll resume their old attacks on Tyreek as well.

Patrick Mahomes is getting ready for one of the biggest games in his young career as the Kansas City Chiefs will face the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. However, social media is attempting to attack Mahomes because of something he tweeted seven years ago. Per Aceshowbiz.com, an old tweet by Mahomes resurfaced as he talking about the George Zimmerman trial. Zimmerman was on trial for the death of Travon Martin, a black teenager who was gunned down which Zimmerman admitted to doing. Zimmerman claimed it was self-defense and he was found not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter.

"This case was an absolute horrible tragedy, however there was no criminal activity that occurred,"Mahomes wrote in the Tweet that was dated in 2013. "No one knows what actually happens which is why he is not guilty but a crime could have occurred." He then added in a separate tweet which said: "Stop resisting or assaulting a cop."

I saw this the other day on twitter, this is getting play because some people on twitter were retweeting it and bringing it up. And to be frank it was black people basically saying "Support Lamar and DeShaun shit like this proves he isn't one of us"

So yea, that type of shit.
