Pick from one of these three offseasons.

The KC Lab guys all offered their concepts of what they'd do for the Chiefs at WR, DL, and secondary.

They each elected to take one blue chip, one mid-tier option, and one cheapo. Though it doesn't show here, they took turns going first, so they couldn't make the same choices on personnel.

Here's what they chose. Which one do you take?

Kent Swanson
WR: Chris Godwin, Matt Collins, Justin Ross 3rd day pick
DL: Von Miller, Josh Paschal of Kentucky 2nd day pick, Idaho's Noah Ellis late rounder
Secondary: trade 1st rounder (and more) for CB Marshawn Lattimore, S Terrell Edmunds, CB Caleb Evans of Missouri 3rd day pick

Craig Stout
WR: re-sign Hill, JuJu, Samori Toure 3rd day pick
DL: Chandler Jones, Melvin Ingram, Thomas Booker from Stanford 3rd day pick
Secondary: CB JC Jackson, S Lewis Cine 2nd round pick, CB Roger McCreary of Auburn 3rd day pick

Matt Lane
WR: George Pickens @ 30, Christian Kirk, bring back Pringle
DL: Harold Landry, Tyreek Smith of Ohio State 2nd day pick, some cheap NT like Nnadi
Secondary: CB Carlton Davis, S Jordan Whitehead, CB Joshua Williams of Fayetteville State on day 3

Sorry -- edited that.

He trades the Chiefs' 1st (and then some) for him.

One blue chip? I'd say they all have at least 2.

Bong 1: Sign Godwin (top 10 WR), Sign Von Miller (maybe a mid-rangs signing), trade for Lattimore (24m in 2022 transfers! he has to renegotiate on top of that), and signs Edmonds (one of the top SSs in the NFL)... Okay that's probably not all happening. Paschal in the 2nd? **** that. Ross isn't falling to day 3 either. Next bong...

Bong 2: Signing JC Jackson (might get largest CB contract in the NFL), Chandler Jones (I'd be surprised if he's not a top-tier contract, even at his age), and JuJu (likely a reasonable mid-tier signing) then goes on to only spend a 2nd on the 3 positions combined on days 1 and 2 of the draft which seems light, especially only signing an aging DE.

Bong 3: Signs Harold Landry (he's going to get a monster contract after the season he just had and his age), Carlton Davis (going to get a higher-end CB contract, certainly not mid-tier), Whitehead (probably above mid-tier but not quite highest end) and Kirk (like Whitehead, probably not mid-tier but a bit above). That's alot of money in FA. NOT happening. Then this guy takes Pickens in the ****ing 1st? Are you serious? That's not stupid, that's reeruned.

Maybe they are crack pipes and not bongs.

Bong 2 might be the most "reasonable" FA grab but the draft portion makes it as much unlikely as the rest.
