What Matt Miller is hearing. BPA is probably the best move

Quote:
What we're hearing about the Chiefs' draft: "Everything is on the table." That's what a Chiefs source told me after the team added Marquise Brown to the wide receiver room in free agency. The Chiefs' offseason thus far has focused on re-signing key players like Chris Jones and Drue Tranquill, but the feeling in the front office is that the team won't be forced into picking a certain position based on need. I was reminded by the same Chiefs source that there was "league-wide panic" last year that Kansas City needed to draft a receiver in Round 1, but the team waited until Round 2 before selecting Rashee Rice -- and won the Super Bowl. So while receiver, left tackle and cornerback are needs on paper, don't expect this front office to reach based on holes in the roster. -- Miller

I think it's more likely the Bears trade up for Nabers than it is that they trade down.

Pairing Nabers and Moore w/ Williams would sure give them a hell of a foundation to work with.

Why would they?

Even if Rice is suspended...we can still grab a WR in the 2nd or 3rd round.
If there isn't a LT there...we can bring back Donovan Smith.
And I'm not so sure that CB is this huge need. If one falls or is the value pick there....then sweet.

Moore, Nabers and Allen would be some damn good weapons for Williams to have in his rookie year.

I'd consider it pretty closely.

Nabers or Odunze paired with Mahomes next year for our 3-peat, plus the next 5-10 years, sounds pretty good.

Oh I would do the trade in a heartbeat…if Odunze is there at 9 yeah I’m calling Chicago.

I just don’t know if you’d get a 2nd back…that’s all I meant, maybe a little bit lower of a pick is more realistic.
