My 5 Main Factors of why Denver is 0-2:
1 - Slow starts / Defensive pressure is non-existant
2 - Bend and don't break has broken on big plays when it matters most
3 - Mental meltdowns (penalties)
4 - Offensive playcalling has been lame
5 - Settling for FGs on long drives (7 long drives - 1 missed FG, 1 INT, 5 FGs)

Is there anything encouraging from the first 2 games?
1 - DEF, 10 of 18 drives have resulted in a punt or end of half
2 - Stats/Yards = @ OAK and Denver had the adv in most vs CHI
3 - Drives greater than 6 plays (5:3 @ OAK) and (7:3 vs CHI)
4 - 2nd half (8 quarters) - scoring adv of 26-20

Doesn't matter if they are finishing better - they are getting out to terrible starts, down 0-14 and 3-6 respectively. Denver has had drives with 11, 12, 10, 10, 9, 9, 16 and 12 plays that have resulted in a ton of yards and only 19 points. They've punted the same total as the other teams, so there's nothing out of whack there.

Just terrible starts - mental issues (penalties) and NO pressure from the defense. You can't have 8 drives with 9+ plays and only get 1 TD and expect to win.

It's a combination of little things... they can fix those, question is will they fix those. Ok, there's my football talk. :-) How's the homework project going?

down 3-6? That doesn’t seem to be indicative of anything.

Shit roster and Chubb was an absolutely awful waste of a high draft pick...THEN they turn the team over to Flacco

They FINALLY did not play their first TWO at HOME this season which is why they're 0-2. Also, no more getting BS calls at home. Simple stuff really, and predicted...

Stop lying to yourself, Denver has turned into a mediocre team that is living off the hype it created when Payton Manning was the QB. John Elway can't make the right picks for this team to compete, he for sure as hell doesn't know dick about quarterbacks nowadays, the game has passed John by and he's just living off his reputation at this point. The fans need to stand up and fly banners to get rid of John Elway, or you guys can sit there and take a back seat to the Chiefs, Chargers, and now possibly the Raiders every year if you want. As soon as Elway traded for Joe ****ing Flacco, and then to actually sit there and say that Joe is in his prime.... he should've been shown the door. If Andy would've traded for Joe Flacco, I would've stopped watching the games until order had been restored.

Donkeys are done. They are irrelevant to the league right now and will be for years to come. Elway and their idiot coach are both going to get the axe in the off season. Elway is a fraud
He was Manning and nothing more.

A very bad Denver team took a good Bear team to the wire. Oh, that early season pile high magic!

Are the Bears really that good though? Their defense, sure, but Mitch Trubisky... I wouldn't want my offense led by him. The regression that Mahomes was supposed to have has now festered inside Trubisky instead.

They are a good team. They were worn down in the 4th on defense. Terrible decision to not take them to OT

No, I disagree. The Bears had done nothing the whole game. Turdbisky had like 90 yards passing for the game and there was 30 seconds left. Nobod expected them to get into field goal range.

Was referring more to just being down at half in B2B weeks, down 3-6 isn't bad unless it's because 4 or 5 of your first drives ended in punts.

Wait though, I thought the early home game would have masked the badness of the team and they would have won? Oh well.
