Didn't see anybody starting this thread so I guess I will.

Anti climatic season starts tonight and my prediction is GS vs Boston in the NBA Finals.




First 2 Games tonight on TNT with Philly vs Boston and OKC vs GS. Westbrook is out tonight so that game will be a blowout most likely.

Kanter is an incredibly bad defender and basically unplayable in this series. I have no idea what he's doing on some of these Curry PnRs. Why is he hanging around in the key?

They will need to get KD and Boogie some run before the Finals but I expect this to be a short series

Honestly, they probably wouldn't. The team that beat the Rockets in game 6 with Draymond/Iguodala playing at that level is probably good enough anyway (although Durant will be back by then).

They're kind of trash, though. Really only have 2 good players.

Giannis is just an unfair advantage regardless of who is guarding him.

He gave Siakam fits in the regular season and I think he’ll also do the same to Kawhi. Maybe Kawhi is the best option? I don’t know? Giannis is just bigger too athletic, lengthy and stronger than those two.

Gasol has the size and the IQ but doesn’t have the mobility, athleticism or speed that Giannis has.

I think they should double team him maybe w/ Leonard and Gasol. That may be a very good combo against Giannis?

Kawhi is one of the best defenders in the league. Easily the best option. Can't have him do it every possession, though, as Kawhi is needed to carry a massive offensive load.

Portland will be lucky if this series gets stretched to 4. GS is just too much and Lillard is erratic.

I think he is gonna play 40 + minutes for sure.

My point is, they need the size, IQ, athleticism, and mobility to keep up w/ Giannis. Ibaka could be a good option along w/ Gasol given that Kawhi doesn’t defend Giannis every possession.
