Miami still has their own first round, Texans aren't exactly playing good, they're 1 and 6 and their head coach was fired. If the pick is not high enough, then they'll trade with someone else. The only ones that might be higher is the Jets or Jacksonville, and are the Jets going to give up on Sam Darnold that quickly. Jacksonville might be the one to go for a QB and land Lawrence if someone else doesn't.

Lamar is still on his rookie contract, they'll keep him or trade if they get an good offer. To get a first round they'll need to give their first and second this year and their first next year. They'll have to bet their future on a QB is going to make a difference with the team they have. To an extent, that's what they have, a team that is good enough to win with a better QB.
