That is absolutely a win now move for them while Stroud and Anderson at minimum are on rookie deals. Also think a WR like that will be good for Stroud going into year 2 as many players/QBs struggle in their sophomore season. Barring injuries they will be tough this year.

The Bills should have gotten rid of him years ago or not even traded for him. But their biggest mistake of all may have been offering him an extension.

I still want to see how the Texans respond in the role as the hunted and vs a first place schedule before anointing them as the primary threat in the AFC to the Chiefs.

This is essentially a rebuild year for them which has to be tough to swallow considering they are wasting a year of their franchise QB's "window".

Is this a sly act of sabotage disguised as a move that weakens the Bills and strengthens one of their top challengers?

Nah, probably not...

Is there any doubt that the Texans will most likely be the Chiefs Thursday Night Kickoff Game opponent?

I could see the NFL holding that game off until late in the year in anticipation of playoff seeding, possibly the 1 seed.

The fact that the Bills were willing to eat the kind of money on this they did, and take what they got says alot about Diggs.
