Fans of my music, please enter the chat.
So, my music project(s) have had a decent amount of people who dig on this forum, otherwise I would be way too timid to even post this here.

With my second full length album "You" coming soon (Feb 24th), and my other band (A Light Within) about to drop some new singles, I was thinking of hosting a Listening party somewhere in KC.

I'm thinking of collaborating with a venue that serves food/drink and would be willing to play the album a couple of times through over a couple of hours while we hang out and mingle, talk about music... just meet fellow planeteers, etc.

I'm thinking no cover charge... just genuine hanging out and partying.

So my question is:

1) Does this sound like fun? AKA: Is there any interest from people here?
2) Any preferred venues to do this?
3) Any other ideas?

I won't be able to spend money to Rent a place (Like the Boulevard Brewing hall or something), but I'd hope that I can find someplace that will just play some of my music for like 2-3 hours and get some people coming through the door.

Anyone jamming YOU? How is it in comparison to The Tribunal?

For some reason (many I can think of), my PR run has somewhat failed with it and it hasn't gone over as well as I had hoped. I suppose I need to change some stuff up for the future.
