Deion gets a pass all the time because of his brash bravado and swagger that he’s had his entire career. It’s almost been endearing. But the fact that so many of the players left and then he’s resorting to social media nonsense like this speaks volumes.
He was also able to back it up as both a player and a coach at Jackson St. That stuff isn’t working now because Colorado just isn’t good. This is probably the most adversity he has faced in a very long time and he’s struggling to cope.

The antics are funny when the team is a plucky underdog. It’s something different and the team is on the way up.

When you don’t produce (Colorado hasn’t so far), then it gets tired really quick.

Deion was always going to become a villain with time. The only question was whether he’d be a shit talking winner or a loudmouth loser.

We can probably guess which one.

Did he bring in a bunch more talent? Last I saw, that team needed a big time infusion of defensive talent.

He won at Jackson State because the SWAC was one of the weakest conferences in FCS.

Now he is facing a situation where all his opponents reside on the same level.
