Chiefs making a run at Melvin Ingram

https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2021...er-hesitation/

Should have just signed the guy when he was here. Likely have to overpay now as Pittsburgh doesn't want to trade within conference.

Given how desperate the chiefs are for ANY production up front, The Steelers might get away with extortion here.

The Chiefs pursued him. We have no idea why he didn't choose to sign here. "Shoulda"...well they wanted to. They tried.

I thought I heard Petro the other day say he wanted $4 million and we only had 2 mil of cap space. He might have just been throwing out a hypothetical, I only caught part of it.

So you could have just posted nothing because it appears you know nothing.

Ingram and Schuster both turned down more money to sign with Pitt so...dumb as **** on their part. We'd be 5 and 2 with them

So with Ingram and Schuster we are actually basically 7-0.

Not really.

Ingram is what, 650k this year? He's the one that wants out because Pitt reduced his playing time. Solid player at cheap cost.

If you see the team to beat in the conference down and struggling, its usually best to leave them there, not potentially hand them an assist with one of their biggest weaknesses.

Will the picture be pre-op in Chiefs’ gear or post-op in faiders’ gear?
