No coach who can choose where he wants to go would choose Denver for any reason other than money. If they only are interested in money, they won’t be successful and won’t justify their price IMO. YMMV.

QJ and his “wait until next year” Denver Broncos. Watching QJs posts each season runs along the same storyline arch “Rob” (Ron Livingston’s character) in the movie Swingers. By the end of the season “I would have killed for the part of Goofy”.

Still October and Knowmo is already fantasizing about Walton outbidding every other NFL owner for anything, ever.

Why would the Broncos need to win a bidding war with anyone?

You said it yourself that the Broncos should only have 1 or maybe 2 losses. Why would you move on from your coach?

Guys who can pick their jobs are probably gonna stay away from the AFC West...you wanna lose to Mahomes every year?

On top of that you are saddled with a declining Russell Wilson and no draft picks.

Wait, what? You mean Hackett isn't the guy? I thought you said he was going to do great things.

Half baked theory: Payton is waiting for Reid to retire.

This is why I believe Rodgers decided to stay in the NFC.

It reminds me of a great argument I heard about Lamar Jackson, he should try to go to a team in the NFC next year and get out of the AFC its just too loaded.

I can see that.

On a related note, I watched the second half of the Commanderskins-Packers game. Aaron Rodgers is not enjoying the sport of football any more. He needs to hang 'em up and go hang out with his fictional fraternity next year.

The AFC isn't loaded but it has two juggernauts at the top with Allen and Mahomes and you aren't gonna be able to beat both

I'd get to the NFC if I could.

That 2nd tier includes Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson and others in the AFC.

5 of the top 10 QBs by QBR are in the AFC. The 5 in the NFC, this season? Jalen Hurts, Geno Smith, Cooper Rush, Daniel Jones, and Marcus Mariota.

As far as QB's go, the AFC is absolutely loaded but if any of those 2nd tier guys would go to the NFC, all bets would be off.
