ASU always wins a game they aren’t supposed to early in the year then they fold like a cheap suit. B1G teams have a horrible record when traveling to Arizona and playing in games that start at 7 at night in 100 degree heat.
ASU will suck again this year and hopefully the Herm quotes will flow like wine.

Herms an awesome personality for the college game, but damn he was brutal as a head coach for our Chiefs.

I don't think so.

Herm threw everyone in front of the bus so he himself could avoid it. There's a reason he fired more assistants than any other coach during his tenures in both NY and KC.

I don't respect leaders who evade accountability. That's bad leadership.

Nonsense

I fully trust my read on him, he is a rock solid guy and a perfect father figure for all the college kids he has now

His offensive philosophy was awful, but give him credit for ditching all those old, overpriced veterans and spearheading the defensive youth movement

Mike Riley also beat a ranked MSU team his first year. He also ran his program like Herm does where basically they have a front office, one guy covers player personnel etc. I think Herm was a good hire said it in this thread. Still remains to be seen though that MSU team is overrated.

That's true. Sparty is very fortunate to be 1-1 instead of 0-2 right now.

I laugh when people consider Michigan State a playoff contender

I guess Mizzou fans need to start buying their playoff tickets as well

Well in the interest of fairness, who voluntarily watches Michigan State anymore? They are coasting off prior accomplishments.

At the very least he did recover Joe Pisarcik's fumble and score the winning TD while sporting a porn stache.

Can't take that away!

Nope. I give him credit where credit is due. There just isn't very much due.

The first half of the class will be great... But after midterms, he won't adapt and modify anything. No one will pass the last half.

I wonder how many kids will drop the class when he starts teaching someone elses class and runs it into the ground?
