FedEx asks Redskins to change name


Here we go. I think part of the reason we’ve been safe from this kind of stuff is because the Redskins have always been a bigger target. Now that there’s pressure from sponsors Snyder is going to feel the heat like never before.

Whatever he decides to go with, he should detach from using "Washington" in the trademark name or any part of the city in the logo. Just be the Wolves, the Warriors, the Cocksmokers, or whatever.

I understand how the Redskins name could be considered racist, but it’s not going to stop there.
