FedEx asks Redskins to change name

Here we go. I think part of the reason we’ve been safe from this kind of stuff is because the Redskins have always been a bigger target. Now that there’s pressure from sponsors Snyder is going to feel the heat like never before.

If they go down, make no mistake, the mob will come for us next.

I still think it will be the Washington Generals.

Change the colors to a dark army green type.

They can have a mascot like the little general insurance character.

Completely get away from the Redskins everything.

That’s how intersectionality works. It’s just gets more ridiculous the further you go.

That’s why I disagree with the notion that it’s not a big deal to change a name, so you should give them what they want. THEY. WANT. EVERYTHING.

They're adamant on keeping the colors from what I've seen.

I don't really give a shit what they do about the name, as it's their name, therefore their problem.

That said, I think Pigskins could work well for them. Wouldn't have to change much other than the Logo. Football is literally a pigskin. Could keep same colors. Most people, including their fans, refer to them as the 'Skins' for short, so you still have that to use. Still ties back to 'The Hogs' who have a very prominent place in team history and fan lore. Lots of things there that could work. Obviously, probably don't make the logo with a pig on it. Just a football and some cool generic DC shit would work. Would be the easiest transition for them, IMO.

But again, I don't give a shit, not my problem. So do whatever Washington.

Jumping from city to city. Or across several states is more offensive than a name change. At least they stay put for their fans.

Holy cow on the stadium. It was supposed to be so cool.

25 years for a stadium to be obsolete. The Wrigley says Hi.
