He flashed a lot yesterday and his athleticism and combine results are in Willie Gay's ballpark which is encouraging. I think he has the potential to be Willie's replacement in due time if he makes the roster.

I’d like to keep him AND Cam Jones over Cochran.

But we won’t. Jones probably makes it and Jacobs gets cut.

There are gonna be 2-3 roster decisions this year that kinda piss me off. As much for who we keep as for who we cut.

He did look pretty good, and PFF had him as the best scoring defensive player with 91...so there's that too. He looks like he'll be a better coverage LB than most of what we have. I'd like him to make it.

I hope maybe Veach will feel like after this last game that Jacobs would get signed away if released, and Cochrane wouldn't, so he makes the roster.
