Props to Spags & The D

We didn't do real great against the run but we played a good game. Jackson got 2 TD's that were the result of plays that were nothing more than just plain LUCK! And one was a push off that didn't get called.

Key parts of the game:

Clark gets the sack at a crucial time
2, not 1 but 2 or even 3(?), 2-pt conversions stopped
Contained a very mobile QB in Jackson
Passing game for the Ravens was mostly luck. Coverage was there all game.

I'm liking what I am seeing so far. Need to tighten it up on the run a bit but the Ravens are a great running team. Keep improving and we have a solid middle of the pack defense.

I’m not sure what to take away from today.

I wonder if they were sorta playing on their heels because they didn’t want to give Jackson huge open running lanes, which can happen when you overpursue.

We were good against the pass for most of the game I thought. Jackson got EXTREMELY lucky on a couple of plays (the throw back across the field, the obvious OPI).

No excuse for all the missed tackles. The offensive scheme you’re playing against has zero impact on your ability to wrap up.

Good lord you’re annoying.

If you’re gonna bitch about the defense all week, every week, stop acting surprised and bullish when the numbers aren’t super pretty.

Oh I didn't know lucky plays don't count.

We got gashed all ****ing day long. We're lucky harbaugh stupidly abandoned the run in the 2nd quarter and on the 2 point tries.

Was happy with our coverage today. They made some lucky plays. Two heaves into the heavens that were completed but we seemed to get gashed quite a bit.

Our LB's suck at stopping the run.

How much was once we went into a prevent defense late in the game, though? Also, Baltimore was the top scoring team in the league coming into this week

Chiefs D sucked ass!
Dude, they had the offense going for it on 4th down, chucking up prayer passes and stuff a few 2-pt conversions. They played fine. The run defense has to pick up but the Ravens are a running team regardless of the JAckson hype.

Lots of garbage yards and lucky throws by Jackson. The game was never in doubt.

Good gameplan by Spags (conceding the run, forcing Lamar to beat them through the air).

He also made some adjustments in game, which is more than we saw Bob ever do.

You mean like when they ran it on the 1st 2pt try and we stuffed them?
