So are we tipping pitches or was Eldred the biggest grease ball teacher in the league. This whole PS went to shit when the new rules kicked in.

This is shaping into a historically bad pitching staff.

Sadly(?) the Royals spin rate has been impacted the least in the majors since the switch. Our starters have sucked, and now our bullpen is completely gassed. This is the result.

Well at least Merrifield will get highlighted in the ASG so we can shop him to the rest of MLB. Maybe we'll get some power hitting Cuban that goes all Pedro Cerano on us, a broke dick pitcher coming off Tommy John and a Chris Getz level utility man. While Whit goes to the World Series with the Yankees.

What makes this season so much more painful is not just the dreadful performance of the MLB team but the performance of the young pitching that was supposed to take us into contention. Lynch, Kowar, Bubic, Lacy have all underperformed. I would include Singer in that group as well. He at least he’s had a little success at the MLB level. I was pretty optimistic about the future of the royals at the beginning of the season, not anymore.

It is amazing that as bad as the Royals have played, the Diamondbacks are considerably worse. Got clobbered by the Dodgers 22-1 tonight. They are on pace to go 46-116.
