Saints Assistant GM Claims Chiefs were "probably " Taking Ruiz at 32

https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2020/...-no-32-overall

S Taylor and many on here breathe a sigh of cum.

I have no beef with CHE hes going to be good for 5-7 years which is all you can ask for a pick especially at 32. I think Ruiz is going to be good for over a decade.

Ruiz is gonna be a stud. Would’ve loved to have him but we’ll be ok.

CHE is a perfect fit, has unique skill sets, and is going to be a ton of fun!

Guards are a dime a dozen. Ruiz can choke on a Po Boy Sandwich for all we care!

I’m fine with how the draft fell. Niang can be a great guard.

Eh the ap editors show made a big deal out of this. The saints, seahawks and packers probably would have taken mahomes if he fell, but he didnt.

Everyone knows that Veach and Reid play games and use misdirection in the draft except the Saints, apparently. CEH was the guy. This Intel just means they fell for it.

About to be a barrage of posters claiming that CEH would have been our pick over anyone else on the board, because Reid and Veach said Mahomes wanted him. Homers eat that type of shit up. Staylor is more than likely going to tell you how much of a dumbass you are lol.

I really thought Ruiz was going to be the pick. Its not as exciting as CHE, but I think the pick would have made tons of sense, as it provides an anchor on the Line that you can build upon.

What the **** are you talking about?

I mocked Ruiz to the Chiefs in my final mock, so even though I don’t necessarily believe this story, I don’t think it’s anything absurd either.
