Eh, I really don't have an issue preserving a field goal if the pass isn't there. I have more of an issue with the playcall. We shouldn't be relying on our D. But we werent asking them to win the game for us. We would he asking them to protect an 8 point tie.

Sliding is the right call if you are going to kick. If you know it is a 4 down situation..and you know you are going to go for it on 4th, then Pat can throw that ball away.
