You shouldn’t be making threads about Royals history if your knowledge of history is so limited.

I mean...yiiiiiiikes.

I'm a Cards fan but I grew up in KC in the 80s and strictly as a baseball fan was routinely wowed by things Frank White did.

I mean there's no accounting for what PB may have seen, not seen, but if you don't have Frank White on a list of greatest defensive players in Royals history - well that's on you because you're just wrong.

Dude could pick it like few have and is among the best at his position in baseball history.

Hard to say, since in some cases such as yours, importance of the position can be a factor over pure defensive brilliance. Pound for pound, Alex Gordon to me, is the best defensive player in Royals history. But I would also have Salvy in my top 5. I would go

1. Gordon
2. Cain
3. Salvy
4. White
5. Ken Harvey

Nah, 5 is open to a bunch of guys.

I wouldn’t argue against Gordon for sure.

To me Cain and Wilson are identical, Cain has a better arm IMO.

And you’re right, id basically take 5 SS and 4 CF if I could play them all. (Alex in his prime could play CF)

When White retired he was the best defensive second baseman in MLB history. Roberto Alomar eventually replaced him, but to leave him off the list is ridiculous. He should be first. Cain’s longevity would be the only argument against him being second.

1) White
2) Cain
3) Gordon
4) Wilson
5) Salvy

Looking forward to Bubics first start tomorrow. Since he's being brought up before Kowar and Lynch then I'd guess he's looked very good in practice

It's a big jump for him but he completely shredded A-ball last year. Kowar got beat up in summer camp. I think Bubic has "it" but the fact that he hasn't even pitched in AA would be my biggest worry.

8-time gold-glover.

The thing with White was......he made it look so effortless. Smoothest infielder i ever watched.

And if memory serves me well, he was usually good for 16-20 HRs a year.
