August is definitely BLT season in Missouri. Everybody and their uncle has home grown tomatoes coming out the wazoo, and they're delicious, real damn tomatoes. I like cheese on my BLT's too. Any yellow cheese will do.

If you are adding cream cheese to a BLAT, you should go all the way to Yellow Sub Beefeater status.

Get some good roast beef and put it all on a grinder roll.
