I don't understand folks talking about "he wants to get paid"...Er YES AND? The guy is a GENERATIONAL talent so why wouldn't we want to pay someone like him? Those are exactly the type of players you want to ne paying imo. Young and the best In their position. I mean what's the difference between Ramsey and Aaron Donald? I don't see any and If we could get him wouldn't folks pay him what he deserves?

The one thing is the Clark deal had to piss off jones. Idk how he’d deal with a second major trade and massive contract

The question is whether he will show up and ball out without the extension. Can his agent convince him that the best landing spot is with a championship contender? Kick ass for KC this year, win a championship, and you WILL be the highest paid corner in the league this time next year.

I think Jones already knows he's signing somewhere else next year. Tag him and trade him.

I almost think it would be worth it to trade him for Ramsey straight up. The only reason I don't is because Jones is such a likable guy while Ramsey is drama.

But in terms of player ability, you trade Jones for Ramsey everyday and twice on Sunday.

1) Of course, but no one has the cap room to give him as big of a contract as he'd get offseason.

He still has 1 more year on his deal in 2020 and that’s before a tag.

Which is why the ideal scenario is for the Chiefs to trade for him now, then trade him away in the offseason.

I hope they get Ramsey honestly. I truly don't give a shit what the cost is. Packers had two of the greatest QBs of all time over a 25 year span and only managed 2 SB wins. I don't want to be the ****ing Packers. Do whatever it takes.
