Curious how pro sports leagues are going to approach the respective drafts if there are no college practices or games this year. Helluva crap shoot.

High school players taken without 2020 seasons. College pitchers saw their stock rise on a four-game sample size. |

That could be a really bad sign. As Scott Van Pelt pointed out on his show a couple weeks ago, the Ivy League was basically the first to postpone sports back in the spring, to the point people thought they were wildly overreacting... turned out they saw the storm coming and were way ahead of the curve. Hope that's not the same here.

I think we're more mentally prepared for it now, but yeah I don't know what happens if any of these teams have a bunch of guys come down with it during a season. You're pretty much screwed.

It’ll take a miracle for there to be a college football season in 2020. I’m 70/30 with the 70 representing no for an NFL season. I’m 99% sure that the NCAA pulls the plug. 18 and 19 year olds taking the field in 8 weeks? No way.

Big Ten is likely to cut non-conference games, and Ohio State had multiple players test positive for the Rona.
Not a good omen for the NFL. |
