This is what those of us that liked S2 have been saying for years. That season was necessary to make you care about the characters.

The Walkers have evolved as the show has gone along, or devolved. They were more aggressive and faster earlier in the show. They've done a good job showing how the Walkers are decomposing and falling apart over time.

The scene was intense. So much emotion, and it all comes to a dead stop when Sophia walks out.

I miss Shane. The guy carried season 2 for a while.

That's one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. Right up there with "look at the flowers" and Rick's throat bite.

"Look at the flowers" was really intense. That was a look at pure evil in that little girl, and that was when the "new" Carol was cemented.

Shane was by far the best character to date on the show. His metamorphosis from good cop to post-apocalypse provocateur was great subtle story telling. On top of that he disliked Dale almost as much as myself. It's too bad the zombies got to Dale before Shane. Shane choking out those big dumb eyes would have been great.

Pretty Flowers ep. is on the AMC marathon now. Mountain Time.

EDIT: And she's dead. That's a hard one every time.
