*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

It’s still way too early to say. The only thing we know for sure is that Mahomes has a much higher ceiling, but we already knew that based on their college film. One is a game manager and the other is more of a gunslinger.

We're gonna get so much more national attention now that we have a shiny new QB.

I wouldn't say that it's to early to say. The Bears ****ed up, not only taking Trubisky but trading up for him.

Trading up to pick him when they were already in the #3 spot appears pretty stupid.

But if Trubisky’s ceiling is current Alex Smith and he gets there by age 26-27, that would be pretty good for the Bears. If they could have that kind of performance from age 27-35, that’s a big win compared to their problems at QB over the last 30 years.

Adam Teicher jumped on the bandwagon today too.

KK asked him if Mahomes is going to win a SB and he said “yes I really think he will.”

He’s played 2 games and has already gotten the stooges to buy in

He still sounds like a little kid doing his best grownup impression. That gravely ass high-pitched voice just cracks me up.

Great clip ...

I should like to bring this to everyone's attention (assuming that you didn't already notice and that you're not reading something else right now) ... watch Vick change his posture and overall attitude at around the 6:50 mark when he knows they're about to talk about Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Vick is into it.

It's unreasonable how chaffed I am by people saying "oh hey, this Mahomes guy is cool..."

I should just welcome all comers. I should be excited about the prospect of additional fans and national adulation.

But most of them can just eat my asshole. At least half of them wept over the body of Alex Smith and the other half still think Marty is the coach. They can all piss off.
