Convinced some fans would rather lose 41-38 than win 25-22 if it means we scored points and didn't punt.

The 2018 offense isn’t coming back and by now people should accept it and understand why.
No different than why the Bengals will struggle to replicate some of their better offenses they’ve had. Mahomes and Tyreek on rookie deals with two really good offensive tackles isn’t happening again. |

My actual argument: We don't need a WR better than Rice to have the best offense in the league, we just need 2 other WRs that are better than MVS and Watson. |

I dont think thats true, but in a game of give and take right now, i think our defense can afford a loss of a great player in Order to stabilize a less threatening wr corps. Take away either jones or sneed and yes its a big loss, but its not going to handicap the defense in the same way our lack of wr weapons handicapped the offense last season. This offseason is about re-balancing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

We'd all love to have the best offense in the NFL, with the best QB, best TE, best WRs, and best OL! Some of us just live in reality and understand that this offense doesn't need to have future HOFers everywhere to be the best in the NFL. |

2022 should be our goal for every year. Strong offense, good defense that can rise to the occasion when needed.
2023 wasn't 2022 bc of injuries, age and stupid errors. Staylor is right. Just get younger players that can do their job and we roll. Toney and MVS alone lost us 2 games, if not 3. |

We immediately got better as soon as we sat down Moore and Toney. MVS stepped up in the playoffs, but Watson still has way too many drops. We don't need a DHop or a Evans. We need a GOOD number 2 and a solid 3. Rice will end up being a #1, he just doesn't have that deep speed. We need a 2 that can push the deep end of the defense and a third guy that has reliable hands. Just with that we will have a top 3 offense. This should be obvious at this point. |

It's pretty crazy how we went from "still haven't replaced JuJu" in the middle of the season to us now needing Rice (who's clearly better) AND a guy that's even better than him just to even dream of having the best offense in the NFL.

2022 just looks more impressive the farther we get from it. I won't be surprised if that remains Mahomes best season after his career is over. In that regard, I'm not sure how replicable it is to get the #1 offense with that level of talent. But the team doesn't need the #1 offense if we can keep this defense playing at a high level.

The last thing I want is more 30+ points needed to win the game. Play break-your-foot-off-in-ass defense, and let Pat make 2-3 superman plays a game with Kelce, Rice, and a good number 2 and run the ball. I mean the formula is unstoppable. |

That's an offense that can get you 30+ when needed. With Mahomes, Kelce, Rice, Pacheco, and a good OL, we aren't THAT far off. |
