A guy who has a similar skillset as Dyami Brown is Ihmir Smith-Marsette.

Here’s Matt Miller’s final big board top 70. Noticing not many receivers mid 2nd but a shit load of good corners.

Spoiler!

I don’t think corner is quite the pressing need that WR and DE are.

In the 50-60 range on that list are Rashod Bateman and Dyami Brown at WR and Turner and Basham at DE. Any combination of those 4 would be a great second round IMO.

I'd be utterly shocked if Bateman falls out of the first.

I would be too, but that would be awesome. If he slips into the second, I wouldn’t mind moving up to get him.

Well if this ends up being correct and these players were "available" then any of these would be fine with me!

56. CB Aaron Robinson, UCF

57. CB Asante Samuel Jr., FSU

58. CB Kelvin Joseph, Kentucky

60. WR Dyami Brown, North Carolina

He hasn’t lived up to his draft slot, but there’s no way they outright release him. They held on to him for 3+ months as he was arrested in May and released in September....right before more news hit from eye witnesses implicating him in the robbery.

They held on to him much longer than most teams would have.

It isn't the pressing need that WR and DE are.

Then again, a team shouldn't be picking based solely on pressing need. If CB is the best value on the board and there are guys available, they should take the CB because it's still a need.

There's no way Samuel is available that late. Several teams have been talking to him about the first round.

I think slot CB is a lock for R2. Too much value in that range and fills a need so we can kick Sneed outside.

Then it’s either WR or DE based on BPA. Both are big needs. I would love Brown if he’s still there somehow but I can see the logic in taking the DE earlier.

I still wonder if Melvin Ingram is on line one for a contract.
