Ya'll DO like Chris Jones, right? And you would prefer he stay on the team over a washed up Douche Pipkins?
Imma pat myself on the back for stating something that, for some, was obvious. For others, not so much.

But i said at the get-go of TC that we have a GROUP, and of that group a WR will emerge as the lead dog.

I said that Rashee Rice should be the one expected. I said that it was obvious the Chiefs are planning to lean on him late in the season based on the abundance of work he received early in TC and PS.

I said that by mid season a WR will emerge. And that by late season, that emerged WR will take charge as the obvious lead headed into the playoffs. And that receiver was Rashee.

And that all came to fruition.

Bwillie, you can suck my chocolate starfish. That's what a real prediction looks like. That's what being right ACTUALLY looks like.

I also said last year during the ridiculous Ross hype that Remigio was the better prospect and CP ovrewhelmingly voted against me in one of the most lopsided polls ever.

He showed out as the better prospect before getting hurt. Lets see how he does this year.

EDIT: Oh, and you best believe that if i end up proven correct, i will NEVER let it go.

Reid described him as "close-close" to getting back to practice. It would be pretty surprising to get that characterization and then not see him on opening day.

To be fair. I wasn't complaining about that. It was the typical camp over hype of how good these Scrub WRs were looking I was pointing out. Knowmo level takes by writers and posters.

I'm just not sure how many opportunities he's gonna get this year. The WR room is in pretty good shape.

Question I have is will the rugby background help or not mean much when it comes to pass protection. Figured he'd have at least some experience being a blocker in those scrums but I don't know **** all about the strategy of Rugby so not sure how it'd all work.
Petro mentioned the Chiefs must have a handshake deal with Mckinnon, or think they have someone on the roster that can fill that role. I always assumed it was the former, but it made me wonder. What do you all think the plan is there?

Just matters that he shows well when given the chance and makes the team. Players get hurt. Others will stumble. Opportunities will arise.

It's insane to me that Donovan Smith is still unsigned. Just off the top of my head the Pats and Commanders have a cardboard cutout of Adam Sandler at the position. The Patriots have a brand new QB and like 50m of cap space.

I do wonder if he also has a handshake deal.

Yeah me too. Him remaining unsigned is more puzzling than Mckinnon. At least with Mckinnon you could assume teams think he's cooked after the injury. Smith played better than quite a few tackles in the league and he wouldn't be too expensive, so I think we must have a handshake deal with him.

Or he just wasn't very good in 2023 once the neck issues set in. Hell, outside of the abysmal Raiders game I think Wanya outperformed him.

Take out that Raiders abomination and Wanya Morris allowed 2.6 pressures per game over the stretch he played. Donovan Smith was allowing 3.2 per game, and there's no significant outliers unlike Wanya Morris.
