The Motorcycle Discussion Thread
I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16) Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you: Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel) C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 Last edited by Dayze; 10-29-2016 at 09:02 PM.. |

Yep. I'm in no hurry to get places. I hate the interstate. State and alphabet highways for the win.

I'd like to organize a CP ride at some point before it gets balls cold outside. I think we have enough members/riders spread all over we could definitely do it.

this weekend. we're only going today though. we won't get there until probably 7; to ****ing hot to get there any earlier. plus we only really want to see 2 of the bands that don't go on until later.
if anyone is going and wants to roll out, hit me up. I'm at I-35 & 95th in Lenexa, but don't care if I have to ride out to meet up etc. how's the new scoot? |

If there is anyone going to Throttlefest that's in the Lenexa/OP area and want to roll out together, let me know. My brother/other rider is meeting me at 6pm at I-35 & 95th and we're headed out. we can either meet at that location or roll out to a location on the way to the Speedway to hook up.
I'm at the computer until he gets here so I'll be checking the thread - or PM me. the more the merrier. Keep the shiny side up! |

it was a good time. $25 was a damn good price for about4 hours of live music. Keifer was good. I even liked his non-Cinerella stuff, and his old stuff still sounded cool. Jackyl was great. I don't know much about them other than when they first came out when I was in high shool. I haven't heard anything of them since. but they were entertaining as shit. it was like half concert, half story-telling/comedy. thouroughly entertained.
lots of 'scenery' to look at. Bike parking was free and we some how managed to find 2 spots about 20 yds from the entrance. Really fun night, but was was cashed when I got home about 2am. primarily from standing for 6 hours. I'll definitely go back next year. |
