What's everyone doing for New Years?

I just bailed on friends to stay at home. Making shrimp, drinking bourbon, and watching bowl games.

New Year’s Eve doubles as my old man’s birthday, and he turned 70 yesterday. So we had a friends and family party with more food and tasty adult beverages than we were able to consume. Dad, myself and my two brothers lasted until 3-3:30 this morning.

I went to Brownwood Square in The Villages Florida and watched the Orlando band The Hooligans play from 5pm to 9pm. The crowd was close to 10,000 and weather was clear and in the 60's. Here they are, they also perform as the Spazmatics.

Hard to imagine, but these are the same guys.

Off for a late start for an "alternative method" hunt. Slim chance we'll see anything, but whet the hell.
