Physically he could replace Kelce. Would be nice to get a few years of mentorship together. If he becae 80% of Kelce it would be a home run.

I think my favorite is the "If it flies, it spies" T-Shirt. https://birdsarentreal.com/products/if-it-flies-tee

In all seriousness: It's a satirical conspiracy theory where the joke is that you act like you believe it 100% to essentially troll those around you with a completely asinine take.

This.

The folks that really nail a good Birds Aren't Real reference crack me the hell up.

Tip Reiman, you have made my draft board sir.

I was gonna leave it without the actual breakdown of 'Birds Aren't Real' satire, but there are some really moronic dumbasses on here, so I figured I should clarify just to be sure unfortunately.

it's funny to me how it just sneaked into the collective zeitgeist somehow.

I mean I've seen baseball games where a bird gets hit with a grounder or something and the broadcaster will just quip "well the taxpayers are gonna have to buck up for a new drone..." without so much as breaking stride. No further context to it, just a quick hitter and they move forward as though nothing happened.

You have to be completely earnest or its not funny. Sounds like Reiman gets it...

I also think the phrase “conspiracy theory” gets thrown around too much.
