Well... they are pretty much following the same trajectory.

I'm sure the finale for Smallville will be great. The finale for BSG was great.

But Season 4 and 5 were lacking, just like the past 4 seasons of SV have been lacking. The show went to shit when Lex left.

I'll agree there. It's definitely been a hit or miss show, but the good (or decent/passable) has outweighed the bad lately. However, I almost gave up on hte show after the whole Doomsday debacle.
