The house cured bacon was the kicker on this puppy. Usually, I won't order a cheeseburger with bacon because the cheese will get all over the bacon and cover the flavor. This experience, however, was a carnivorous orgasm.

oddly enough, to be real, the aussie 'lot burger', doesn't have bacon. which is a disgrace.

Love that thick slice of cheese. I lived in Toronto for one year from mid 2016-mid 2017 on the corner of King and Yonge in the Suites at One King West and then for a short time in Markham. I tell everyone Toronto is one of the most underrated cities in the world. |

it's a grease vinaigrette.
The fries were a little under, but I didn't mind as he knew I was in a rush to leave. The burger was spot on though, one of the best in town. And a full combo =double cheeseburger with drink was 8 bucks. |

I haven't been posting pics lately, because what I've been eating really hasn't compared to the things KCUnited and BEP have been putting down in here. Gonna get back to posting, though. Tonight was just simple chicken kabobs. I marinated the wife's in a balsamic vinegarette. The kid and I went with a citrus and onion marinade from Stubbs.
Sorry no pics of the cooked product. We ate quickly. |

I got a tri tip at the store today. Never made one. Thinking sous vide for sandwiches.

[I got one (clearance item $1.99#) at SLAM's Club and it was marinated. I also grabbed a Mock Felit (see pic) for $2.99#. I am going to coldish smoke the tri tip then Sous Vide it or just smoke and sear it. I had Tri-Tip smoked (rare) at a roadside BBQ in AK and it was delish.
