Hell yeah and I can now come out of the closet. I to put dill chips on my grilled cheese. I dont go on the SJ but the pickles are on the side and always a zig zag of turd on the SJ bun.

I never heard of mustard on a sloppy joe in my entire life and wonder if it is a midwest thing? I have heard of people putting pickles on it like it was a hamburger but never mustard and never ketchup. The sloppy joe sauce was all that I needed. Toasted bun looks like a nice touch.

We’ve always added fried bacon crumbles in the mix and topped with a couple slice of onions. Gotta pruce it up a bit, I enjoy them plain as well. |

Mandatory accessories for Sloppy Joe/Manwich
Kaiser Roll, toasted Generous amount of gooey yellow cheese, soft cheddar is best, but American is acceptable [melted right on top of scoop of manwich]. Fresh sliced onion, like, sliced as you make the sammich pickle planks, preferably Gedney's Zinger Dill. That's it, period, end of story. |
