You'd have to have something agreed to because part of the issue here is the players drafted in front of him, one of which is a RB, all have new contracts.

Now what the Chiefs could do is kick the can down the line past 2020, if they think this cap is going to explode they could keep the team together if they kick it down the line to buy time.

If two firsts is where it starts, they don't really want to trade him.

That's a "sure, we'll trade him if you blow us away" amount.

Not really, that would be about the going rate for a player of his caliber, age, and position.

They're gonna end up just losing him for nothing, he blatantly doesn't want to be there.

The more I think about it, the more I’m willing to pull the trigger if it’s reasonable..

When you have Mahomes and all these weapons on offense combined with the best corner in the league on defense, it’s going to be REALLY tough for any team to outscore you.

I'll trade 10 years of 1's for a championship...

We are no longer in the team building spot we are in the win this shit spot. If you wanted a player his caliber, he was the 5th pick, you gonna go from 30 to 5? It's gonna be more than 2 1's.

Two first rounders for Ramsey as a starting point?

And some thought a late first and/or Ward, third rounder was enough.
